Refund policy & withdrawal

Refunds at a glance

• Purchase via Dodo Payments. You buy credits from our reseller Dodope Payments Limited ("Dodo Payments"). Dodo Payments is your contractual partner for the purchase and pays refunds back to the original payment method (see Terms, Section 1.4).
• Withdrawal. As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal (policy below). It expires as soon as the credits are added to your account, because at checkout you expressly agree that we start immediately and confirm that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This usually happens a few seconds after payment.
• Failed videos. If a video fails on our side, you get the credits back automatically. The same applies if you cancel a video before creation has started.
• End of contract. If you cancel or delete your account, we refund on request the price of purchased, unused credits pro rata (Terms, Section 5.6).
• Defects. Your statutory rights in the event of defects remain unaffected.

A. Withdrawal policy

Right of withdrawal

Consumers (any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor part of their independent professional activity) have the following right of withdrawal:

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

The contractual partner for buying credits is Dodope Payments Limited, 3rd Floor Crown House, 151 High Road, Loughton IG10 4LG, United Kingdom, email: support@dodopayments.com. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Dodo Payments or us (Georg Brünning, PintroAI, c/o Online-Impressum 1443, Europaring 90, 53757 Sankt Augustin, Germany, phone: +49 171 640 1789, email: info@pintroai.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). A withdrawal you declare to us also applies to Dodo Payments; we forward it. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online on our website at pintroai.com/widerrufen. If you use this online function, you will immediately receive an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) with information on the content of the withdrawal and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, all payments you have made shall be refunded without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which the notice of your withdrawal was received by Dodo Payments or by us. Dodo Payments makes the refund using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this refund. With the withdrawal, the credits of this purchase are removed from your account.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal

For a contract for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires when performance of the contract has begun after you have expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period, you have confirmed your knowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, and you have been provided with a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium that reflects these conditions (Section 356(5) German Civil Code).

At PintroAI this means: Before every purchase you give this consent and confirmation by ticking a box. With the purchase confirmation by email you receive your declaration word for word. Performance begins when the credits are added to your account; from that moment the right of withdrawal has expired.
